🎯 FORT HATCH- A REVIVAL OF A LEGENDARY MAP 🏹

Some places are more than just playing fields—they’re part of paintball history.

This month, Alabama Paintball Quest proudly unveils Fort Hatch, our newest woodsball battlefield and a tribute to one of the pioneers who helped shape paintball in the Southeast.

For many longtime players, these woods may feel familiar. Years ago, this area was known as the legendary Fort Apache, one of the original fields from the early days of Paintball Quest. Time and nature slowly reclaimed the grounds, leaving behind memories of epic battles, lifelong friendships, and the roots of Alabama paintball culture.

Over the past several months, we’ve worked to reclaim these woods from years of overgrowth and restore them for a new generation of players. In doing so, we felt it was only right to dedicate the field in memory of Roy Hatch—one of the original owners of Paintball Quest and a true pioneer of paintball in the Southeast.

Today, Fort Hatch stands as both a revival and a remembrance: honoring a legacy that helped build this community while creating new experiences for the next generation of players.

Fort Hatch Debut Schedule

🎯 Structured Practice with the APC Savages - 5/24
The first games on Fort Hatch will kick off with a competitive structured woodsball/10-man practice hosted by the APC Savages.

🔫 Airsoft Scene Intro & Swap Meet - 5/30
Players will get another chance to experience Fort Hatch during our Airsoft Scene Intro and Swap Meet event- Link HERE.

🏆 Alabama Paintball Club Event - 5/31
Fort Hatch will culminate its opening ceremony with the Alabama Paintball Club Event, bringing players from across the region onto these historic grounds once again.
